If you need makeup done for a wedding or a special event you MUST book Elizabeth! Not only is she incredibly friendly and warm, but she is insanely talented and the best at what she does! I was so nervous about getting my makeup done because I don't normally wear a ton of make up and didn't want to look different than my usual self, but Elizabeth made me look like me but glowy and elevated. Elizabeth was recommended to me by a couple of people, and I am SO grateful that Elizabeth was available to do my makeup for my wedding day. I could tell from her website and in talking with Elizabeth, she would be perfect to help me look beautiful on my big day while keeping a very natural look. Right from the start, Elizabeth was very responsive and highly communicative, and her website is great. I was living out of town, so she squeezed me in for a trial a few days before my wedding in SD. Don’t worry. I have a light hand and I listen. I always start light if you aren’t specific about what you want. It’s always easier to add or adjust from there.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you have a minimum to book?
I have a minimum of 6 full face services plus a preview/trial appt. or cost thereof to book Saturdays and 5 full face services plus a preview/trial appt. or cost thereof to book Fridays or Sundays. All other weekdays I have no minimum. If you have less people I can stay longer for touchups instead. Remember even if you don't have a bridal party, your friends/family would love to get ready with you.
What type of makeup do you use?
I use many many brands and am always looking for the best in each product category. I always keep in mind how it will photograph and that it will be rain proof/sweat proof/cry proof/dance proof ;) Some of my most commonly used brands are Charlotte Tilbury, Nars, Viseart and Tom Ford.
Where do you do trial/preview? When should I do this appointment?
I do the preview appointment in Point Loma. My parents home has a front deck with ocean view of Sunset Cliffs, great natural light and childcare for my son. I am happy to come to you if you prefer for a travel fee. The appointment is typically an hour.
I have done preview appointments before and after booking, A year out and up to the week of the wedding. It is your choice. Preview appointments are Monday through Thursday 9 -5 unless you are coming from out of town or simply can't for work reasons. I am booked up most weekends and try to protect any free time for my family. I appreciate your understanding.
Do you use airbrush?
I don't do airbrush for a few reasons..
It looks and feels heavier and thicker than my techniques/products.
It can start to crack and separate later in the day.
It has a different base than regular foundation and tears can erase a streak through it that is very difficult to fix with regular makeup.
If you have any hairs or texture on your face it can make them standout.
The makeup and techniques I use photograph just as well and last just as long if not longer.
I have many reviews from brides and clients saying their makeup lasted all night through sweaty dance parties and tears.
I have had many brides that had trials before me with airbrush and didn't like it so they came to me and were much happier with my work.
Do you do hair as well?
I do not do hair but I have a wonderful referral list of top hair stylists I work with often. I would love to help connect you!
